South Florida Jail Ministry
One of the most vibrant fulfilling and life changing ministries in action today is in the jails of Miami Dade county and around our nation. Looking into the faces of inmates and seeing their eagerness to which they respond to the word of God is a blessing beyond description. Every year an average of 5,700 inmates make profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Reentry Program
A faith based jail transition program which seeks to assist inmates with their preparation for release from jail through a personal relationship with God as the motivating and life changing force enabling them to overcome a criminal and dysfunctional lifestyle. The program is designed to be comprehensive regimen to prepare the offender (client) for release from jail so that they will not re-offend. The program seeks to assist clients in the major areas of need that are typical of some offenders, these are: Substance abuse, housing, employment, personal identification, education, family/peer dysfunction, criminal thinking.Journal
