Touching Miami with Love
Touching Miami with Love serves the urban poor with the Love of Christ in Overtown through holistic ministries to children, youth, families, and those struggling with homelessness. We offer after school programming for children five days a week throughout the school year as well as 6 weeks of summer camp. We minister to the youth in after school programming as well as summer camp and overnight camp. We serve families through free income tax preparation, the Christmas Store, parenting classes, and special neighborhood events. Each Sunday morning we offer a worship service and a meal in partnership with Central Baptist Church for those struggling with homelessness.Events, Trainings, or Orientation Dates

We are seeking volunteers, high school age to adult, to serve with a commitment to one day a week, minimum. Opportunities for leadership of group activities are highly encouraged.TML Beautification Days

We are seeking 25 youth, 7th grade and above, to serve as "big buddies" to the children in our summer day camp for two weeks. We ask for one adult volunteer for every 8 youth. Our camp runs for six weeks in the summer.Journal
